How can i describe about this place....... i have no words to express this QTRS, more than 25 buildings 150 flats and that much families are living there with various grades of job .Every one have there own reasons to stay on the qrtrs even though it is small in size ,one main reason is that we can easily travel anywhere from our home because everything is near to us and we get all the facilities without much difficulty and don't bother about electric and power bills.
Now i feel sad because next week we are going to poojapura to our new home so dad goes to vacate this million dollar home :( . Now i am capturing all the places of merry moments such as play ground, friends home, colony terrace , trees etc. I had lived there since the age of 4 ,and at ma child hood my foots are everywhere on all the edges of the qrtrs. Each colony family knows me well because i used to cycling and ran all over the corners and stairs.
But today i am watching the playing kinds and some times i feel my self as i am also one among the kids.Lot of changes happened within 18 years new buildings ,cement platform replaced ever green plants and trees but still our QTRS is green.There are many boys but i have only few in the name of friends, i dont mingle easily with all it takes time, but if i am friend with one i show the meaning of friendship and it is very difficult for me to get away with them until they betray or double cross me.
At my child hood my friends at the colony are :TINTU(kannadi maaman called by neighbor hari chetan) ,CHINJU(kunjan) ,ARUN.S.K alias RETHEESH(konthandi) ,PRATHEEP(kabeesh) ,BALAJI ,TINKU and RAJA (and ratheesh chettan) .They are very close to me at my childhood and near to my home .and still thery are my friends :) .
Other friends on neighbor buildings are SUJITH,SUBIN,PAPPUS ,SANAL ,KICHU ,PRAVEEN AND KUKOO .Do U know who's name these are: Ummikari ,Puli ,Kaduva ,Sreeni .
Hey u know two of my friends(boy nearly at the age of 21) get married last year :D(i think no need to say there names .)
WE used to play all the games and specialty is that we have two types one is seasonal and other is daily.Seasonal games are gooli(katchi) ,kutiyum kolum , foot ball etc....
And other daily games are Shuttle ,Cricket ,Policum kalanum ,Sat kali ,Statue etc...[video game is the one i loved very much to play and i have one, a gift from ma DADs bro, it is still working :) but i am allowed to play only on vacation days]
But all these games are only up to the end of 8th standard ,after that amma not allowed me play and told concentrate on my studies .
Now our colony kids have new games and they dont know golli and kutyium kolum to play .
And our qtrs chetanmar created an association just to collect money and calibrate festivals. According to my knowledge ONAM was the first celebration they made,after that Xmas now pongala too and once people give 10 Rs now it tends to 100, 150 etc . .
My home (@ qtrs) really a heaven because of its position and different from other apartments .It is single floored apartment with terrace on top ,all other apartments don't have terrace and at my balcony a grt view of cinema theater Sree Kairali .So every time is fun for me to watch the people who come for movie .And the money-plant in front of the door also makes more aesthetic than its ushal nature.On Summer days i hear sounds of varius birds at my childhood i thought that was from some migrating birds .
That is why i always used to invite my friends to come my home and to show how different from others h
ome .I gonna miss a home full of life(each corner have its own story to me) ,friends ,milma booth uncle (he used to call me reserve bank because my notes are always fresh for milk ) ,Flour mill ,re-charge coupon bro and uncle ,contract ppl etc ...
